This institute was started temporarily at Govt. ITI Bargarh in the year 2016 with only Electrician trade. It was then shifted to its own building at Bheden near "Dui-muhani" on the river bank of Jeera&Danta near the village Sunalarambha, 4kms. away from the block headquarter Bheden and 30kms from the district headquarter Bargarh during the month of September, 2017. It covers a large & green area about 6.89 acres with Administrative and Academic Blocks, Workshops, 100 Seated Girls' and 200 seated Boys' Hostel.This institute is under the administrative control of Directorate and Technical Education, Odisha, Cuttack and functioning under the Department of Skill Development and Technical Education , Odisha, Bhubaneswar. The syllabus is under the control of DGET,New Delhi & the certification is under SCTE&VT, Govt. of Odisha. This institute provides Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) in the trade of Electrician & Fitter to meet the skilled manpower requirements for Technology and Industrial growth of the country. All the trades of this institute are affiliated to SCTE&VT,Odisha and expected to be affiliated by NCVT,New Delhi very soon.
